The Saint John Sea Dogs look to complete a sweep of their second round series against the Val-d'Or Foreurs tonight. Game 4 takes place this evening at 8:30 p.m. at Centre Air Creebec.

Series status: The Sea Dogs lead the best-of-seven President Cup quarterfinal playoff series 3-0.
Last game: The Sea Dogs defeated the Foreurs 7-3 in Game 3 last night in Val-d'Or. Mathieu Joseph had a hat trick for Saint John while singles came from Cole Reginato, Joe Veleno, Julien Gauthier and Kyle Ward. David Henley, Ivan Kozlov and David Noel scored for Val-d'Or. Callum Booth made 16 saves in the win. Etienne Montpetit made 52 stops in the loss.
2016-17 regular season head-to-head: The Sea Dogs were 2-0-0-0 against the Foreurs during the regular season while Val-d'Or went 0-2-0-0 against Saint John.

Three Things to Know
1. While the Foreurs were able to score more than one goal last night, they were held to under 20 shots once again. They have been held to under 20 shots in every game of this series.
2. The Sea Dogs allowed their first power play goal against last night. They are still an impressive 96.2% on the penalty kill, good for tops in the QMJHL this post-season.
3. As mentioned in yesterday's pre-game, the Sea Dogs have been dominating the scoreboard in third periods. That trend continued last night. Saint John has now outscored opponents 16-1 in thirds.
