HALIFAX - The Saint John Sea Dogs are on the road this afternoon.

After dropping back-to-back games against the Eastern Conference leading Moncton Wildcats, the Sea Dogs now take on the conference's ninth-place team - the Halifax Mooseheads.

Game time at Scotiabank Centre is 3 p.m.

Records: The Sea Dogs are 25-28-1-0 for 51 points (fourth Maritimes, sixth Eastern, 12th QMJHL) while the Mooseheads are 18-29-3-1 for 40 points (fifth Maritimes, ninth Eastern, 17th QMJHL).

Last games: The Sea Dogs are coming off a 4-1 home loss to the Moncton Wildcats on Friday. Jeremie Poirier scored Saint John's lone goal. Zachary Bouthillier made 46 stops in the loss. The Mooseheads are coming off a 6-2 loss in Bathurst on Friday. Senna Peeters and Gavin Hart scored for the Moose. Alexis Gravel made 42 stops in the loss.

Halifax had goals from Jeffrey Burridge, D'Artagnan Joly, Senna Peeters and Zack Jones. Noah Patenaude made 21 saves in the win. Alexis Gravel was pulled after allowing four goals on 24 shots in 40 minutes of play. Cole McLaren made seven saves in relief.
