Two postponed games rescheduled

Two postponed Saint John Sea Dogs games have been rescheduled.

The Sea Dogs will now visit the Moncton Wildcats on Wednesday, Nov. 4, a game that was originally scheduled for Oct. 16. The Wildcats will then visit Saint John on Tuesday, Nov. 10 for a game that replaces the Oct. 10 contest.

Both games had to be postponed due to the Moncton region being placed in the COVID-19 orange phase by the province, an emergency measure that will end tonight.

The Wildcats host the Acadie-Bathurst Titan on Friday night and visit the Charlottetown Islanders on Saturday. The team hasn't played a game since Oct. 9 in Halifax, but they were permitted to keep practicing while in the orange.

The Sea Dogs, meanwhile, have a busy November ahead of them. With these two rescheduled games being added on, Saint John will play 11 games over a 26-day period.

All six Maritimes Division clubs will be in action on Friday while the 12 Quebec based teams remain on pause.

On Thursday, the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League announced that the Drummondville Voltigeurs have paused all in-person activities due to a player testing positive.
