Top 10 Sea Dogs Memorial Cup Moments: #1 - Thomas lifts the trophy

(Ed. Note: In honour of 2022 Memorial Cup tickets going on sale to the general public, we've been counting down the top 10 Sea Dogs moments in Memorial Cup history. With tickets now on sale, here's the exciting finale!)

#1 - Mike Thomas lifts the Memorial Cup
The top moment in Saint John Sea Dogs Memorial Cup history is the most obvious.

The Sea Dogs became the first team from Atlantic Canada to win the trophy after a 3-1 win over the Mississauga St. Michael's Majors in the 2011 championship game.

New Maryland native Mike Thomas, who had been with the club since the 2006-07 season, lifted the trophy first.

The Memorial Cup will be lifted on TD Station ice this June when Saint John hosts the 2022 Memorial Cup. Ticket packages are now on sale to the general public.
