CHARLOTTETOWN - Justin Robinson made 42 saves as the Saint John Sea Dogs fell 2-0 to the Charlottetown Islanders on Friday at Eastlink Centre.
Alexis Michaud and Matthew Butler scored for the Islanders, who ended a nine-game home losing streak with the victory. Carter Bickle stopped all 23 shots he faced in the shutout win.
The Sea Dogs once again gave up a lot of shots, once again couldn't generate a lot of quality chances and once again came out on the losing end. Saint John has now dropped five straight games as they finally head home to TD Station.
This game wrapped up a stretch of eight straight road games for the Sea Dogs. They went 1-7 during the stretch with their only win oddly coming in Victoriaville against one of the league's best teams.
