Game Day 48: at Bathurst

BATHURST
- The Saint John Sea Dogs meet a familiar foe tonight at the KC Irving Regional Centre.

The Sea Dogs and Acadie-Bathurst Titan will battle for an eighth time this season. Saint John has won four of the seven meetings so far but Bathurst has won the past two.

Saint John is coming off a 1-2-0-0 road trip through Quebec last weekend and are just 3-7-0-0 in their last 10 games.

Game time tonight is 7 p.m.

2023-24 regular season records: The Sea Dogs are 16-25-3-3 for 38 points (sixth Maritimes/ninth Eastern/15th QMJHL) while the Titan are 21-21-3-2 for 47 points (fourth Maritimes/sixth Eastern/10th QMJHL).

Last games: The Sea Dogs are coming off a 7-1 loss in Gatineau on Sunday. Eriks Mateiko had Saint John's lone goal. Patrick Leaver and Justin Robinson split the loss in net. The Titan are coming off a 4-3 overtime loss to the Moncton Wildcats on Tuesday. Mathieu St-Onge, Colby Huggan and Milo Roelens scored for Bathurst. Antoine Keller made 27 stops in the loss.

2023-24 head-to-head: The Sea Dogs are 4-2-0-1 against the Titan this season while Bathurst is 3-4-0-0 against Saint John.

Last meeting: New Year's Eve at TD Station where the Titan defeated the Sea Dogs 4-2. Joseph Henneberry had a pair of goals for Bathurst while Milo Roelens and Bobby Orr added singles. Noah Reinhart and Coen Miller scored for Saint John. Antoine Keller made 25 saves in the win. Justin Robinson made 36 stops in the loss.
