The Sea Dogs played their third and final regular season game at Fredericton's Aitken Centre on Sunday, falling 2-0 to the last-place Baie-Comeau Drakkar. The loss gives the Sea Dogs a losing record in Fredericton, finishing 1-2-0-0.
The Sea Dogs defeated the Gatineau Olympiques 5-1 on Jan. 8 and fell 5-2 to the Cape Breton Eagles on Nov. 30.
Attendance for the series saw mixed results. These numbers are bit higher than what the eye test would say.

The series didn't seem to get much hype online from UNB while reaction from Saint John fans wasn't, understandably, overly positive. We'll see what the organization thinks, but it doesn't feel like there is a huge desire to do this series again. But we'll see.

LEADERS
With 18 regular season games remaining, Alexis Joseph leads the Sea Dogs in both points with 45 and goals with 20. He had a nine-game point streak come to an end on Sunday.
Joseph needs to score six more times to tie the franchise record for goals in a season by a rookie, a record that is co-owned by Tomas Jurco and Ostap Safin.
Captain Olivier Groulx, meanwhile, leads the team in assists with 28.
Dylan Rozzi leads Saint John in power play points with 14. Groulx, Joseph and Zachary Morin each have a team high three shorthanded goals.
SPECIAL TEAMS SUCCESS
Saint John finished January with a 4-6-1-0 record – which isn't great, but also not terrible.
Saint John's special teams, though, were quite great. Check out these numbers compiled by the great Geoffrey Brandow on Twitter.

According to Brandow's calculations, Saint John had the best power play and penalty kill percentages in the QMJHL in January. They were also tied with the Chicoutimi Sagueneens for the fewest power play goals allowed.
Overall this season, Saint John's power play is currently ranked eighth (22.9%) and their penalty kill is third (83.1%).

SUSPENSIONS
Sea Dogs forward Jabez Seymour missed Sunday's game due to a one-game suspension.
Seymour received the suspension for removing a helmet in his fight against Charlottetown Islanders defenseman Dylan MacKinnon on Saturday. MacKinnon, meanwhile, was suspended one-game for being an instigator in the fight.
Islanders defenseman Owen Conrad, meanwhile, was suspended one-game for a high stick during Saturday's game. Conrad was given a major penalty and game misconduct for a cross check on Julien Wasmer in the first period. Saint John scored two goals on the power play and went on to win 7-3.
MacKinnon and Conrad will miss Charlottetown's game on Friday against the Newfoundland Regiment, the team the Islanders are chasing in the standings.
