Game Day 48: vs Regiment

Michael Hawkins/Saint John Sea Dogs
SAINT JOHN - The Saint John Sea Dogs and Newfoundland Regiment are about to get quite familiar.

The two will play three straight games against each other with the first meeting taking place tonight at 7 p.m. at TD Station. The next two games will take place in St. John's later this week.

Saint John has struggled mightily against Newfoundland this season, currently sporting a 0-4-1-0 against their old provincial rivals. That includes three straight losses at TD Station, all of which have taken place since New Year's Eve.

These points are valuable for both teams. Newfoundland is in a fight for playoff positioning in the middle of the standings while Saint John is just trying to stay in the race for the final couple spots.
