Game Day 23: vs Titan

SAINT JOHN - The Saint John Sea Dogs will look to snap a 13-game losing streak tonight at Harbour Station.

The franchise high losing skid reached 13 after the Sea Dogs dropped all six games of a two week Quebec road trip. Tonight's 7 p.m. matchup against the Acadie-Bathurst Titan will be Saint John's first home game since Oct. 28 - and first game of any kind since Nov. 9.

The Titan haven't been too hot lately either. Bathurst sits just two points ahead of Saint John in the QMJHL's basement and have lost six straight.

Records: The Sea Dogs are 2-17-2-1 for seven points (sixth Maritimes, 18th overall) while the Titan are 4-18-0-1 for nine points (fifth Maritimes, 17th QMJHL).

Last games: The Sea Dogs are coming off a 6-2 loss in Sherbrooke on Nov. 9. Robbie Burt and Jeremie Jacob scored for Saint John. Alex D'Orio made 32 stops in the loss. The Titan are coming off an 8-3 home loss to Charlottetown Islanders last Saturday. Daniil Vertiy, Noah Dobson and Marc-Andre LeCouffe scored for Bathurst. Tyriq Outen made 27 saves in the loss.

2018-19 head-to-head: The Sea Dogs are 0-2-0-0 against the Titan this season while Bathurst is 2-0-0-0 against Saint John.

Last meeting: Oct. 5 at Harbour Station where the Titan defeated the Sea Dogs 7-1. Noah Dobson and Cole Rafuse both scored twice for Bathurst while singles came from Alexandre David, Charles-Andre Cypihot and Brandon Cianflone. Yohan Plamondon scored for Saint John. Mark Grametbauer made 31 stops in the win. Alex D'Orio made 23 stops in the loss.

Titan to watch: Cole Rafuse has eight goals and four assists in 21 games this season. In two games against Saint John he has recorded six goals and three assists.
