CHICOUTIMI, Que. - The Saint John Sea Dogs' losing streak has hit double digits.

The Sea Dogs dropped their 10th straight game on Sunday in Chicoutimi, falling 6-3 to the Sagueneens. The 10-game streak ties Saint John with the Acadie-Bathurst Titan for the longest losing skid in the league so far this season.

The Sea Dogs, who are still winless on the road this season, have dropped the first three games of this six-game Quebec road trip by a combined score of 23-5.

The Sea Dogs were able to keep this game relatively close at least. Alex D'Orio returned to action after missing the first two games of this trip due to injury and made 39 saves in the loss. Robbie Burt, Micheal Campoli and Nicholas Deakin-Poot scored for Saint John.

Vladislav Kotkov scored three times for Chicoutimi while singles came from Artemi Kniazev, Felix-Antoine Marcotty and Zachary Lavigne. Zachary Bouthillier made 19 saves in the win.

Chicoutimi opened the scoring just 1:41 into the game when Kotkov beat D'Orio with a wraparound. But just 3:29 later, Burt stole the puck at the blue line and put in his own rebound to quickly tie the game at 1-1.

With 50 seconds remaining in the first, Kniazev scored to put the Sags up 2-1 after 20 minutes.

Chicoutimi wasted little time scoring in the second. Just 2:09 in, Kniazev scored on a scramble in the crease to put the Sags up by two.

Saint John had an excellent opportunity to get back into the game when they headed to a lengthy five-on-three power play five minutes into the second. The team had a decent amount of puck possession in the offensive zone but could not create many dangerous chances.

The Sagueneens took a 4-1 lead at 8:23 when Kotkov toe dragged around Nathan Larose and ripped a shot upstairs on D'Orio.

Kotkov completed the hat trick with a power play goal at 7:28 of the third. Jesse Sutton was on the goal line and fired a perfect pass to Kotkov in the circle who wired a quick wrist shot past D'Orio to give the Sags a 5-1 advantage.

Campoli made it a 5-2 game at 14:41 with his first career QMJHL goal, firing a point shot past Bouthillier.

Chicoutimi scored again at 17:45. Lavigne tried to send a cross ice pass but the puck went off Larose's stick and over D'Orio, making it 6-2 in a very unfortunate way.

Deakin-Poot completed the scoring, finding the top corner on a breakaway to make it a 6-3 final.
