Game Day 29: vs Titan

- The Acadie-Bathurst Titan have had the Saint John Sea Dogs' number of late.

The Titan have won three straight games against the Sea Dogs, outscoring Saint John 18-7. This comes after the Sea Dogs won the first three meetings between the two in the restart. Overall, Bathurst has now won five of the nine meetings this season.

The 10th meeting of the season will take place tonight at TD Station. Game time is 7 p.m.

Records: The Sea Dogs are 14-10-3-1 for a .571 points percentage (third Maritimes) while the Titan are 16-9-1-1 for a .630 points percentage (second Maritimes).

Last games: The Sea Dogs are coming off a 4-3 win in Moncton last night. Nicholas Girouard had two goals while singles came from Vladislav Kotkov and Ryan Francis. Zachary Emond made 32 stops in the win. The Titan are coming off a 5-3 loss in Moncton on Tuesday. David Doucet, Adam McCormick and Cole Huckins scored for Bathurst. Jan Bednar made 44 saves in the loss.

2020-21 head-to-head: The Sea Dogs are 4-4-1-0 against the Titan this season while Bathurst is 5-3-0-1 against Saint John.

Last meeting: This past Sunday at TD Station where the Titan defeated the Sea Dogs 6-3. Logan Chisholm and Mathieu Desgagnes each scored a pair of goals for the Titan while singles came from Cole Huckins and Jacob Melanson. Saint John had goals from Peter Reynolds, Brady Burns and Jeremie Poirier. Chad Arsenault made 33 saves in the win. Zachary Emond made 31 stops in the loss.

Titan to watch: After a slow start to the restart, Cole Huckins has really heated up over the past couple weeks. Huckins has scored in each of his past three games and in four of his past six contests.

Random stat: Mathieu Desgagnes has eight goals and eight assists in nine games against Saint John this season.

Notes: Ryan Francis leads Saint John in points with 41 and assists with 28... Brady Burns has a team high 16 goals... Mathieu Desgagnes leads Bathurst in points with 39... Bennett MacArthur leads the club in goals with 21... Desgagnes and Riley Kidney are tied for the team lead in assists with 20 each... Saint John is 8-5-1-0 at home...
