Sea Dogs unveil centre ice design

Sea Dogs X
SAINT JOHN - A day before the team hits the TD Station ice for the first and only time this pre-season, the Saint John Sea Dogs have unveiled this year's centre ice design – and it's spectacular.
The Sea Dogs wisely had their 20th anniversary logo made into a circle design, allowing it to fill up the entire centre ice circle.

The logo is much more creative than previous anniversary markings.

Here's Saint John's fifth anniversary centre ice design (best image I could find).

10th anniversary.
15th anniversary.
The Sea Dogs hadn't been very creative with their centre ice look until the 2022-23 season when they added the "City of Champions" circle, jumping on a recent trend that has teams filling up more of the circle than in the past.
As the top images show, Saint John has added Memorial Cup and Gilles Courteau Trophy silhouettes into the red line. With the exception of CHL events, this is the first time the Sea Dogs have changed their red line design.

The Sea Dogs host the Charlottetown Islanders in pre-season action on Sunday afternoon at 3 p.m. The team returns to TD Station ice on Friday, Sept. 20 when they host the Moncton Wildcats in the club's home opener.
