The Sea Dogs lost a wild 8-5 game last night in Moncton. Saint John trailed as much as 6-1 in the second period but stormed back in the third to make it 6-5. The Sea Dogs couldn't keep that momentum going though, allowing a couple of Wildcats insurance goals late.
One issue for Saint John last night was the penalty kill. Moncton went 4/5 on the power play.
The Sea Dogs face a Titan team tonight that is off to an impressive 8-3-0-0 start, placing them first overall in the QMJHL standings.
