It’s been a rough few weeks for Jurij Repe.
The Saint John Sea Dogs rookie defenseman hasn’t played a
Quebec Major Junior Hockey League game since November 25 where he suffered a minor concussion. He has since recovered and has joined the Slovenian junior
team for the Division 1 World Junior Hockey Championships. But today, Repe
tweeted some more bad news.
Broken hand :/ #injury

Slovenia beat France 5-0 today in Division 1 - Group A action for
their first win of the tournament. They play Austria tomorrow and Norway on
Sunday.
This obviously isn’t great news for the Sea Dogs defense.
Benjamin Hade hasn’t played since October 6 due to injury. They’ll be missing
Olivier LeBlanc over New Year’s for the World Under-17 Challenge. And it’s hard
to say what’ll happen once the trading period opens.
Repe has two goals and two assists in 22 games with Saint
John this season.
