Mike McMahon of College Hockey News caused a bit of a
stir last night when he tweeted that American forward Cam Askew will likely be
selected early in today’s QMJHL Entry Draft and sign with that team.
We could see a large number of New England players selected in tomorrow's QMJHL Draft. Hearing one team in particular will take a handful.

Hearing that BU recruit Cam Askew, one of the top-97s, is in Quebec for tomorrow's draft. He wasn't at Indiana's (USHL) camp this week.

Also, regarding Askew, hearing that it's likely he'll be one of the top-5 picks taken tomorrow.

Multiple sources saying BU recruit Cam Askew likely to sign in the Q. Likely drafted in top-5 picks tomorrow & he's in Quebec for the draft.

So there’s that.
Who is picking in the top five today? Cape Breton,
Shawinigan, Saint John, Sherbrooke, and Bathurst. Of those five, I think we can
all agree on which team an American player would likely want to play for. Still,
it’s hard to imagine the Dogs passing on Nathan Noel. Maybe another team moves
into the top five today or something? We’ll have to wait and see.
International Scouting Services has Saint John selecting
Askew late in the first round of their mock draft. He is ranked 27th
by ISS and 59th by HockeyProspect.com.
He’s an interesting prospect who has committed and
decommited from a number of schools and teams, creating rumours of him coming to the Q
for a while now.
