Yann Sauve played in his first NHL games in forever this
week
Sauve was a -1 with two hits and one shot in 13:28 of ice
time for the Vancouver Canucks in their 3-1 loss in Boston last night. On
Monday, the former Sea Dogs defenseman played 12:14 in Vancouver’s 2-0 loss in
Detroit.
The 23-year old is making his first appearance in the NHL
since the 2010-11 season. He was recalled by the Canucks on Sunday because of injuries.
In 39 American Hockey League games with the Utica Comets,
Sauve has nine assists.
Also last night: Jonathan Huberdeau fought Jake Gardiner.
Very rare event.
