The Sea Dogs announced this afternoon that defenseman Michael
Abbott will miss the rest of the season with a broken wrist. The 19-year old
has not played since November 30th.
Abbott was one of Saint John’s leading scorers when he
got injured. He had six goals and 10 assists in 22 games with all six of those
goals coming on the power play.
The St. John’s native is eligible to return to the Sea
Dogs as a 20-year old next season.
