Sea Dogs defenseman Luke Green has been
named to Team Orr for the 2016 BMO CHL/NHL Top Prospects Game.
Green was one of eight QMJHL players
named to the event’s rosters. They others were Even Fitzpatrick (Sherbrooke),
Samuel Girard (Shawinigan), Vitalii Abramov (Gatineau), Julien Gauthier (Val-d’Or),
Pierre-Luc Dubois (Cape Breton), Pascal Laberge (Victoriaville) and Otto
Sompii (Halifax).
The annual game between Team Cherry and
Team Orr features the top draft eligible players from the CHL. This year’s game
will take place on Jan. 28 in Vancouver.
Green, the first overall pick in the
2014 QMJHL Entry Draft, is in his second season with the Sea Dogs. The
17-year-old has eight goals and 12 assists in 35 games with Saint John this
year.
