Defenseman Mark Kennedy will be signing
with the Saint John Sea Dogs, according to the Weeks Crushers Twitter.

Kennedy, a 17-year-old that is listed at
6’1” and 200 lbs on the MHL website, has one goal and 11 assists in 29 games
with the Crushers this season.
The Sea Dogs are in need of defensemen
with Thomas Chabot and Jakub Zboril away at the world juniors and Bailey
Webster hurt. Last night against Charlottetown, Saint John used two midget AAA
d-men (Vincent Martineau and Ian Smallwood) and one from the MHL (Alex Bernier).
Kennedy spent the previous two seasons with
the Cape Breton West Islanders of the Nova Scotia Major Midget Hockey League.
The Sea Dogs travel to Cape Breton on Sunday to take on the Screaming Eagles at 3 p.m.
