Marsh joined the Sea Dogs as a free
agent signee in 2014-15, recording 24 goals and 20 assists in 60 games. He went
on to be drafted in the seventh round of last year’s NHL Draft by the Detroit Red
Wings.
Injuries forced Marsh to play in just 48
games with Saint John this year where he had 23 goals and 19 assists. He missed
all of the Sea Dogs’ playoff run, not appearing in a game since March 6.
While the Chicago native was a scoring threat, he struggled with consistency.
