The Sea Dogs laid a beating on a young Titan squad winning 7-1 in front of over 1,900 fans at Harbour Station.
The Sea Dogs got off to a strong start by getting 29 shots on the Titan netminder in the first period alone.
Olivier Oullet and Nick Peterson had a pair of goals each.
Bruce Hornbrook of the Titan opened the scoring on a beautiful deke to get it by Karel St. Laurent. Guillaume Nadeau was sensational in goal.
Brandon McDonald was trying to prove he desereved to make the team with a pair of fights, including a staged fight right outside the penalty box doors.
Notes: The Sea Dogs recieved a delay of game penalty to start the third period when they entered the ice late... the Titan played mostly rookies in the game... The Titan were a jersey short and backup goalie Anthany Mager-Dugas had to wear a practice jersey on the bench... The Sea Dogs travel to Bathurst today to face the Titan... expect a line-up of Sea Dogs rookies.
