QMJHL DAILY: CHALLENGE GETS NAME CHANGE

The ADT Canada-Russia challenge is no more. Subway has jumped on board and the challenge will now be known as the Subway Super Series.

The series will feature the same concept. According to the QMJHL website, the Russian national junior team will play two games a piece versus QMJHL, OHL, and WHL all-stars.

The challenge was hosted by Saint John for the first time last season. Cape Breton hosted the other game to represent the Quebec junior circuit.

Station Nation Fact: There have been five Sea Dogs to ever play in the challenge:

Alex Grant
Yann Sauve
Simon Despres
Chris DiDomenico
Steven Anthony
