SEMI-FINAL TICKETS ON SALE

SAINT JOHN – Tickets to the Saint John Sea Dogs’ first two semi-final playoff series are now on sale. Tickets can be purchased at the Harbour Station box office, by phone, or by visiting the facilities website.

Game One of the best-of-seven series will be next Friday, April 22, at 7:30 pm at the Station. Game Two will be Saturday, April 23, at 7:00 pm.

The Sea Dogs advanced the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League semi-finals after eliminating the Victoriaville Tigres in five games. Saint John won the series deciding game in Victoriaville last night by score of 4-1.

Who the Sea Dogs will play in the third round has yet to be determined. Saint John will play the lowest seed remaining, which could be decided as soon as tomorrow night.

The eighth-seeded Lewiston MAINEiacs currently hold a 3-2 series lead over the second-seeded Montreal Juniors, the seventh-seeded Shawinigan Cataractes are down 3-2 against the third-seeded Quebec Remparts, and the fifth-seeded Gatineau Olympiques hold a 3-2 series lead over the fourth-seeded Drummondville Voltigeurs.

Game Six of each series is tomorrow.
