The GM Search Continues

Sea Dogs president Wayne Long was featured in the latest episode of Bell Aliant’s “Access ‘Q’ Atlantic” show.

In the interview with John Moore, Long talks about a number of Sea Dogs related items. Most notably, he said that the general manager search has been shortlisted to five and they hope to have someone in the position by the end of February.

To see the interview, visit the Community One website, click the sports tab, then the Access “Q” Atlantic tab, and then select season two episode nine.

The Sea Dogs have kept their GM applicants very quiet. Stormin Norman, the QMJHL’s Eklund, tweeted this last night.

There is some background on DARRELL Young here. He is indeed currently an amateur scout for the Canucks and has worked as a scout for a few other NHL teams. Most notably though, he was the Moncton Wildcats’ Director of Hockey Operations for two years in the early 2000s.
