NHL Central Scouting released their
final rankings for the 2015 NHL Draft today.
Of the 211 North American skaters to make the rankings, 10 of them are members of the Sea Dogs. Defenseman Jakub
Zboril was ranked the highest, coming in at No. 12. Thomas Chabot was a few
slots below Zboril and was ranked 16th.
The full rankings can be seen here.
Below is where all the Sea Dogs were ranked.
12. Jakub Zboril
16. Thomas Chabot
54. Nathan Noel
55. Adam Marsh
70. Samuel Dove-McFalls
122. Bailey Webster
125. Mathieu Joseph
170. Spencer Smallman
180. Jack vanBoekel
187. Jason Bell
Boston University’s Jack Eichel, who is
Saint John property, was ranked second overall behind Erie’s Connor McDavid. Meanwhile,
defenseman Jack Massie, a 2014 draft pick of the Sea Dogs and a UMass-Amherst commit,
was ranked 80th and goaltender Joel Daccord, a 2013 draft choice of
the Dogs and an Arizona State commit, was ranked 10th amongst North
American goaltenders.
TSN’s Craig Button also released his April draft rankings yesterday. Seven Sea Dogs were ranked, including Thomas
Chabot cracking the top 10.
10. Thomas Chabot
20. Jakub Zboril
56. Nathan Noel
64. Adam Marsh
82. Spencer Smallman
93. Mathieu Joseph

Button’s rankings are certainly a bit
interesting as he's placed Boston College’s Noah Hanifin way down at No. 12.
The 2015 NHL Draft takes place June
26-27 in Florida.
