Anderson MacDonald of the Saint John
Vito’s is ranked sixth in HockeyProspect.com’s latest rankings for the 2016 QMJHL Entry Draft.
MacDonald currently sits sixth in NB/PEI Major Midget Hockey League scoring with 18 goals and 36 points in 26 games with
the Vito’s this season. The 15-year-old Quispamsis native is in his second
season with the club.
Leading the rankings was Gatineau
forward Benoit-Olivier Groulx. Cole Harbour defenseman Jared McIsaac was ranked
second while Jonquiere goaltender Olivier Rodrigue was third.

The Sea Dogs have Charlottetown’s first
round pick in this year’s draft. If the draft were held today, that selection
would be seventh overall.
Meanwhile, in Bob McKenzie’s mid-season NHL Draft rankings, Sea Dogs defenseman Luke Green was ranked 50th
overall.
