Reports: Chabot decision coming soon

The Ottawa Senators will make a decision very soon on Thomas Chabot's playing future, according to reports:
Chabot has been with the Ottawa Senators all season but has appeared in just one game. The Sens can either choose to keep him around or send him back to Saint John - the AHL is not an option.

TSN's Bob McKenzie had a column yesterday explaining why the Sens may keep Chabot around.

Ottawa hosts the Carolina Hurricanes tonight at 8:30 p.m.

  1. As for Sens fan and a Seadogs fan it is a tough call for me. Come home Chabot. We miss you

  2. Join an elite group of draft picks, go deep in the playoffs and possibly the memorial cup, Captain the Jr team to a gold medal and play a butt load of hockey games.. sounds like a no Brainer to me. I know what Detroit would do.

  3. CBC Sports is reporting Chabot is returning to SJ as of today, quoting the Ottawa GM.
