Series status: The Sea Dogs and Sagueneens are tied 1-1 in the best-of-seven President Cup semifinal series.

Last game: Chicoutimi won Game 2 of the series by score of 3-2 in double overtime on Saturday at Harbour Station. Joey Ratelle scored twice while Nicolas Roy added a solo marker. Julien Gauthier and Matthew Highmore had Saint John goals. Julio Billia made 52 saves in the win. Callum Booth made 51 stops in the loss.

2016-17 regular season head-to-head: The Sea Dogs went 2-0-0-0 against the Sagueneens in the regular season while Chicoutimi went 0-2-0-0 against Saint John.

Ex-Sea Dogs on the Sagueneens: None.

Random stat: Chicoutimi is 4-1 at home this post-season and went an impressive 24-9-0-1 at home during the regular season.

Three Things to Know
1. This is a big game, obviously. While it's not necessarily a must-win, a Sea Dogs victory would make life a lot easier on Saint John (obviously). The team has not been in this type of situation a whole lot this year, and it will be interesting to see how they respond.

2. Matthew Highmore and Mathieu Joseph have points in all 10 of Saint John's playoff games entering action today. Julien Gauthier has goals in five straight games.

3. Back in the 2012 semifinal between these two teams, both Games 3 and 4 in Chicoutimi went to overtime, with the Sags winning one and the Dogs winning the other.

Notes: Mathieu Joseph leads Saint John in scoring with 17 points in 10 games... Joseph and Spencer Smallman are tied for the team lead in goals with eight each... Matthew Highmore has a team high 11 assists... Dmitry Zhukenov leads the Sags in scoring with 19 points and assists with 14... Nicolas Roy has a team high eight goals... Callum Booth's GAA of 1.70 is the best in the league... Simon Bourque has points in four straight road games... the Sea Dogs are 4-0 on the road this post-season.
