Game Day 2: at Charlottetown

CHARLOTTETOWN - The Saint John Sea Dogs and Charlottetown Islanders square off again tonight.

The two teams began regular season play last night at TD Station where the Islanders edged the Sea Dogs 4-2. Saint John got off to a slow start, allowing the Islanders to grab a 3-0 lead. The Sea Dogs got better as the game went on but an empty net goal by Xavier Simoneau in the final minute ended the comeback attempt.

The Sea Dogs will look to get off to a better start tonight and try and create more quality scoring chances. The team also went 0/5 on the power play.

Game time this evening at Eastlink Centre is 7 p.m.
