SAINT JOHN - For the first time this season, the Saint John Sea Dogs and Sherbrooke Phoenix will meet.

The Phoenix will wrap up a three-in-three Maritime road trip this afternoon at TD Station. Sherbrooke defeated the Charlottetown Islanders 5-2 on Thursday before falling 6-3 in Halifax last night.

It will be a quick turnaround for the Phoenix with today's match scheduled to begin at 4 p.m.

After playing three games in Quebec last week, Saint John has had a week off to prepare for tonight's contest. This will be the Sea Dogs' first home game since Jan. 11.

Today is Superhero Night at TD Station and the Sea Dogs will be wearing specialty jerseys.

Records: The Sea Dogs are 16-22-4-0 for 36 points (ninth Eastern/15th QMJHL) while the Phoenix are 19-20-4-0 for 42 points (sixth Western/13th QMJHL).

Last games: The Sea Dogs are coming off a 5-1 loss in Blainville-Boisbriand last Saturday. William Yared scored Saint John's last goal. Arseni Radkov made 21 saves in the loss. Charles-Antoine Beauregard had a hat trick for the Phoenix while singles came from Florent Houle, Etienne Giroux and Hugo Primeau. Tyler Peddle scored for Saint John. Linards Felbergs made 23 stops in the win. Charles-Edward Gravel made 21 saves in the loss.
