BATHURST – After defeating the Halifax Mooseheads by
score of 7-3 last night at Harbour Station, the Saint John Sea Dogs look to
continue their winning ways on the road this afternoon. The Sea Dogs are in Bathurst today for a 4pm tilt against the Titan.
The Titan have given the Sea Dogs a lot of trouble this
season. Bathurst has won four of the five meetings between the two clubs this
year while Saint John has managed to grab just three of possible 10 points
against them.
Saint John enters today’s game with a record of 33-13-0-2
and sit just two points back of the Shawinigan Cataractes for top spot in the
Quebec Major Junior Hockey League with 66 points. The Sea Dogs have won two
straight and are 6-3-0-1 in their last 10 games.
On the road this year, the Dogs are 13-9-0-1 and have
outscored opponents 84-77.
The Titan currently sit third in the Maritimes Division
and ninth overall in the league with a record of 23-19-2-3 for 51 points. They
have picked up at least a point in each of their past four games and are

Bathurst is 15-7-1-2 at home this season and have

The Sea Dogs are coming off a 7-3 win over the Halifax
Mooseheads last night at Harbour Station. Charlie Coyle and Tomas Jurco each
had a pair of goals for Saint John while Aidan Kelly, Danick Gauthier and
Stephen MacAulay added singles. Mathieu Corbeil made 29 saves in net for the
win.
Bathurst is coming off a 7-4 win over the Moncton
Wildcats on Friday night at the KC Irving Regional Centre. Zach O’Brien scored
four goals in the victory while Ludovic Kabambi, Christophe Losier, and Matthew
Bissonnette added solo markers. Sebastien Trudeau had five assists. Robert
Steeves made 29 saves in net to earn the victory.

Bathurst has certainly had Saint John’s number this

Their last meeting came on December 28 when Saint John’s
