Anthony played four seasons with Saint John from
2007-2011 and finished off his junior career with a Memorial Cup Championship.
In 244 regular season games Anthony had 66 goals and 163 points. In 33 playoff
games he had another seven goals and 17 points.
The Halifax native was a seventh-round pick of the
Canucks in 2009. He has played in the East Coast Hockey League and Central
Hockey League since his professional career began. In 33 games with the CHL’s
St. Charles Chill this season he has four goals and 10 assists.

You have to think that Jonathan Huberdeau had a little part in this trade. Anthony has too much talent to be stuck down in the ECHL. Hopefully Steven will get to live up to expectations.
