PRESSER TODAY AT 2PM

The Telegraph-Journal had some more information on today’s big announcement in Saint John Sea Dogs land.

Here’s what Sea Dogs beat reporter Scott Briggs wrote:

The Canadian Hockey League and the Saint John Sea Dogs are expected to announce today that Harbour Station will host a major international hockey game this season.
An official announcement is scheduled for 2 p.m., in the main lobby of Harbour Station. The Quebec Major Junior Hockey League Sea Dogs and Harbour Station hosted a game during the 2008 Canada-Russia Super Series, a tool used by Hockey Canada to identify players for the national junior team's December selection camp.
Sea Dogs president Wayne Long, team governor Joe Richard and Harbour Station general manager Mike Caddell are expected to be among those present for today's announcement.
It’s sounding more and more like a Subway Super Series game given the time of the announcement and the fact that it is being called an “international event.”
