Imama, Morin Suspended

Some suspensions have been handed down by the QMJHL following Saturday’s “hockey game” in Rimouski between the Sea Dogs and Oceanic.

According to TVA Sports’ Mikael Lalancette, Saint John’s Bokondji Imama has been suspended four games for abuse of officials while Rimouski’s Samuel Morin has received a two-game ban for a hit from behind.
Morin’s hit, which came in the third period on Samuel Dove-McFalls, can be seen above. Gif via Broad Street Hockey.

Here's a part of Imama’s actions.
Rimouski won the game 7-3. It wasn't pretty.

Saint John hosts the Victoriaville Tigres on Wednesday night at 7 p.m.

UPDATE: Both the Sea Dogs and Oceanic have also been fined $1,000, according to the QMJHL website.

UPDATE 2: TVA Sports has a better clip of Imama shoving an official. The 45 second video can be seen after watching 45 minutes of commercials.
