Former Sea Dogs defenseman Nathan
Beaulieu scored his first NHL goal last night in the Montreal Canadiens’ 4-2
loss to the Ottawa Senators.
Beaulieu’s goal came at 14:25 of the third period, making it a 3-2 game at the time. Ottawa scored an empty netter
to make it a 4-2 final.
Beaulieu played an impressive 24 minutes
last night, the third most on the team. He has one goal and five assists in 42
games with the Habs this season. He has played in 65 career games, recording a
goal and nine assists.
Montreal currently sits atop the NHL’s
Eastern Conference standings with a 37-16-4 record.
