TSN’s Bob McKenzie released his final rankings for the 2015 NHL Draft today.
Unlike many draft rankings, McKenzie has
Jakub Zboril well ahead of teammate Thomas Chabot. Zboril was
ranked 14th while Chabot was 25th.
Those two were the only Sea Dogs to
crack McKenzie’s top 75. There were plenty of other QMJHL players on the list with
Halifax’s Timo Meier being ranked highest at No. 12.
McKenzie also has Noah Hanifin at No. 3
where quite a few rankings from other outlets have him slipping to fourth or
fifth overall.
LIGHT WEIGHT
According to Sportsnet, Sea Dogs forward
Adam Marsh is tied for the lightest player attending the NHL Combine, weighing
in at 160 lbs. Oshawa’s Anthony Cirelli, who scored the Memorial Cup winning
goal on Sunday, is also listed at 160 lbs.
FUTURE OILER?
Will Thomas Chabot be taken by the
Edmonton Oilers at the NHL Draft? It’s certainly a possibility, as the Edmonton Journal explores.
