According to Saguneeens reporter Jonathan Hudon, Chicoutimi claimed Duchense off waivers today.

This season with Saint John, Duchesne had one assist in 28 games. He appeared in yesterday's 5-4 overtime loss to the Halifax Mooseheads.
Duchesne turns 19 in May, and the Sea Dogs likely want to give some of the younger defencemen - like a Brendan Sibley - more ice time as the season winds down.
