McCallum, Blagden make UNB debuts

Kale McCallum and Nick Blagden made their debuts with the UNB Reds on Friday night.

McCallum picked up an assist, four shots and a tripping minor in UNB's 5-4 overtime victory over the Dalhousie Tigers at the Aitken Centre. Blagden finished the game a -1.

There were three former Sea Dogs skating in the UNB/Dalhousie game: McCallum, Blagden and Tigers forward Matt Green. Green had two assists in the loss and was named the game's third star.

The Reds are currently without forwards Austen Keating and Brady Gilmour; defenseman Adam McCormick; and head coach Gardiner MacDougall due to their participation in the 2023 FISU World Winter University Games.
