The Saint John Sea Dogs moved up a spot in the BMO CHL
MasterCard Top 10 Rankings this week. The latest edition of the rankings were released yesterday afternoon.
Winners of five straight and eight of their last 10, the
Sea Dogs are ranked fourth in the Canadian Hockey League. Saint John played two
games this past week, beating the Moncton Wildcats 1-0 and the
Blainville-Boisbriand Armada 6-3 at Harbour Station.
Saint John currently sits first overall in the Quebec
Major Junior Hockey League with a record of 36-13-0-2.
Other QMJHL teams in this week’s top 10 were the
Shawinigan Cataractes at No. 3 and the Quebec Remparts at No. 9. The
Victoriaville Tigres were an honourable mention.
The weekly rankings of the CHL’s Top
10 teams are selected by a panel of National Hockey League scouts.

In Buzzing The Net’s Dynamic Dozen this week, the Sea
Dogs were ranked first.
Saint John plays two games this week – both on the road.
The Dogs are in Drummondville on Friday night and then travel to Shawinigan to
play the Cataractes at 5pm on Saturday.
