SAINT JOHN – The Saint John Sea Dogs are still the No. 2
ranked team in the Canadian Hockey League. The latest edition of the BMO CHL
MasterCard Top 10 Rankings were released thus afternoon.
The Sea Dogs played just two games this week, winning
both. On Friday night at Harbour Station, Saint John defeated the Quebec
Remparts by score of 4-1. Then last night, the Sea Dogs hung on for a 4-3
victory over the Halifax Mooseheads.
The Dogs, who sit first overall in the Quebec Major
Junior Hockey League with a 42-14-0-2 record, have won 12 straight games.
Other QMJHL teams to crack this week’s list were the
Shawinigan Cataractes at No.5 and Remparts at No. 10. The Victoriaville Tigres
were an honourable mention.
The weekly rankings of the Canadian Hockey League’s Top
10 teams are selected by a panel of National Hockey League scouts.

In Buzzing The Net’s Dynamic Dozen this week, the Sea Dogs were ranked first.
This week, Saint John will play three games. They travel
to Moncton to face the Wildcats on Saturday night before hosting the Cape
Breton Screaming Eagles on Sunday afternoon. Then on Tuesday, the Wildcats make
a trip to Harbour Station to take on the Dogs.
