Here’s Martin Frk’s hit on Ryan Tesink from Tuesday’s
game.
The play happened at 11:25 of the second period. Frk was
given a five-minute major and game misconduct for checking to the head.
Tesink would be okay.
Halifax Mooseheads head coach Dominique Ducharme wasn’t
happy about the penalty. "I was surprised he got a penalty at all,"
Ducharme told the Chronicle Herald.
Was it a clean hit? Was it dirty? Was he deserving of a game misconduct? We’ve given up on trying to figure out the QMJHL’s disciplinary
stuff, so you tell us.
Thanks to Chris from HockeyFights.com for the video
Yeah I believe so, he saw Tesink coming with his head down & braced himself for the hit. It really shows during the replay imo.
ReplyDeleteIt didn't look bad when it happened but the replay told the whole story. If the league wants to minimize concussions then they have to issue susspensions everytime this kind of hit occurs.
