Saint John Sea Dogs playoff tickets go on sale to the general public this
Saturday. This from the Sea Dogs:
The Sea Dogs have clinched the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League Maritime Division title and home-ice advantage in the first round of the President's Cup playoffs. The team will open its best-of-seven first-round series at home on March 23 (8 p.m.) and March 24 (7 p.m.)
Tickets to the first two games of this best-of-seven showdown will go on sale at noon Saturday. Game 1 will be televised by Sportsnet and TVA Sports. To encourage Saint Johners to pack the house for this national showcase, the first 500 fans to purchase tickets to Game 1 on Saturday can do so at a special promotional price of just $10.
“We had a sold-out crowd for our last nationally televised game against the Quebec Remparts and it was an outstanding example of how exciting Harbour Station can be,” said Sea Dogs President Wayne Long. “We’re offering this reduced price to fans that show their commitment early to get this year’s playoff run off to another great start.”
Tickets can be obtained by calling the Harbour Station box office at (506) 657-1234, or by visiting www.tickets.harbourstation.ca
The remainder of the first-round schedule will be announced shortly after Saint John's playoff opponent is determined.
The Sea Dogs are likely to play either the Cape Breton
Screaming Eagles or Rouyn-Noranda Huskies in the opening round.
