SAINT JOHN – This afternoon’s pre-season game at Harbour
Station has been cancelled.
The Saint John Sea Dogs were supposed to play the Halifax
Mooseheads at 4pm today but the game has been cancelled due to several Halifax
players suffering from the flu.
This was going to be the final exhibition contest for
both teams.
The Mooseheads and Sea Dogs were to play on Friday night
at the Halifax Forum but that game was cancelled because of the flu as well.
The Quebec Major Junior Hockey League’s regular season
begins on Thursday night at Harbour Station with Saint John hosting the
Acadie-Bathurst Titan at 7pm.
