SAINT JOHN - May 1, 2012. The Quebec Major Junior Hockey
League suspends Saint John Sea Dogs captain Jonathan Huberdeau for the first
two games of the President’s Cup final for his hit on Chicoutimi’s Charles
Hudon during Game 5 of the semi-finals.
Sea Dogs fans are upset of course, not only over the
league’s horrid consistency when it comes to suspensions but the fact that
Huberdeau may have played his last game as a Sea Dog at Harbour Station.
Huberdeau never got another chance to play at home last
season, but it looks like he will get at least one more chance this year. According to the Sea Dogs, the Florida Panthers prospect will be in the lineup this evening.
@jonnyhuby11 scheduled to play in tonight's pre-season match with the Wildcats!

The Sea Dogs host the Moncton Wildcats tonight at 7pm in exhibition
action. Tickets are just $9 for the general public and $5 for season ticket
holders.
Hard to say what’s going on with the NHL/NHLPA and CBA
junk so there is certainly a chance this could be Huberdeau’s last game as a
Sea Dog. It might not be. But maybe it will be. Just go to the game and worry
about it later.
