And so it begins. The NHL lockout is now officially
underway and it’s anyone’s guess as to how long it will last.
These are dark days. But hey, let’s look on the bright
side. The Sea Dogs are back for another year, and thanks to the lockout, one of
the best hockey prospects on the planet will be playing at 99 Station St. for
the foreseeable future.
Even though the Dogs won’t be as stacked as in past
years, there is plenty of elite talent in the QMJHL this year that will be
playing on Harbour Station ice throughout the season.
So yeah. Don’t be complaining that there is no hockey to
watch. Junior hockey will keep on rolling.
