The latest issue of The Hockey News is loaded with junior
hockey info because, y’know, what else are they going to put in there these
days.
In their annual junior preview, THN predicts the final standings for all three circuits in the Canadian Hockey
League.
The magazine predicts the Saint John Sea Dogs to finish 15th
in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League, one spot ahead of the expansion
Sherbrooke Phoenix.
“Dogs are a husk of the back-to-back league champ
editions,” writes Ryan Kennedy, “but the lockout at least means bonus Jonathan
Huberdeau.”
Here are THN’s predicted QMJHL standings:
1. Quebec Remparts
2. Halifax Mooseheads
3. Blainville-Boisbriand Armada
4. Rimouski Oceanic
5. Moncton Wildcats
6. Chicoutimi Sagueneeens
7. Acadie-Bathurst Titan
8. Gatineau Olympiques
9. Cape Breton Screaming Eagles
10. Baie-Comeau Drakkar
11. Val-d’Or Foreurs
12. Victoriaville Tigres
13. Rouyn-Noranda Huskies
14. Drummondville Voltigeurs
15. Saint John Sea Dogs
16. Sherbrooke Phoenix
17. Shawinigan Cataractes
18. PEI Rocket
You just have to feel bad for the PEI Rocket sometimes.
The magazine is worth picking up. Plenty of Nathan
MacKinnon/Seth Jones hype along with some solid analysis on all three leagues.
