With two goals and an assist tonight – including the overtime winner in a 4-3 victory over the Chicago Blackhawks – Hoffman now has five goals and six points in his last three games and nine goals and 15 points in his past 10.

Overall, Hoffman has 13 goals and 25 points in 21 games with the Sens this season. This follows his breakout 2014-15 campaign that saw him record 27 goals and 48 points in 79 games.
Hoffman played his overage season of junior with the Sea Dogs in 2009-10, posting 46 goals and 85 points in 56 regular season games. He was known for his shot and speed, two aspects of his game that are now translating well into the NHL.
The 09-10 season was the only campaign that saw Hoffman play with Jonthan Huberdeau, who was a 16-year-old rookie at the time. Now that both have established themselves as NHL players, how have their careers compared?
Hoffman also has a goal and two assists in six NHL playoff games.

One thing I know for sure is that I'd take a year of Hoffman and 3 and a half year of Huberdeau for half a season of Dido any time!
