SAINT JOHN – Tickets to Game Five of the 2011 President’s Cup final between the Saint John Sea Dogs and the Gatineau Olympiques go on sale this morning at 10:00 am. Tickets can be obtained at the Harbour Station box office, by calling (506)-657-1234, or visiting the Station's website.
The Olympiques forced a Game Five after they evened the series up at 1-1 with a 3-2 victory on Saturday in Saint John. Game Three of the best-of-seven championship series is tonight at 8:30 pm in Gatineau.
It will be the first time this post-season that the Sea Dogs will require an extra home game to decide a series. If either team wins both of the next two contests, Friday’s game could see a President’s Cup celebration.
Tickets to Game One of the final failed to sellout while Game Two took nearly a week to completely sellout.
According to a Sea Dogs release, they “are expected to welcome the one millionth fan in team history through the turnstiles on Friday, and a special prize will be awarded to a lucky fan in attendance for this historic moment.”
Friday’s game will either be the last or second-to-last home match of the 2010-11 campaign.
