MEMORIAL CUP SENDOFF TOMORROW

Before the Saint John Sea Dogs head to Mississauga for the 2011 MasterCard Memorial Cup, fans will have an opportunity to wish them luck.

From the Sea Dogs:

The Sea Dogs are inviting fans to a celebratory Memorial Cup sendoff with the team from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Tuesday on the concourse of Harbour Station.

Fans will have the opportunity to meet players, wish them well, and see the President’s Cup. Fans are also encouraged to bring posters and letters of encouragement for the players as they look to add a national championship to their first-ever QMJHL title.

The Sea Dogs will depart for Mississauga on Wednesday afternoon.

Saint John’s first game at the Memorial Cup is Friday at 8:00 pm against the host Majors.
