announced today that they have sent Ryan Tesink back to the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League.
Tesink will rejoin the Blainville-Boisbriand Armada, the team Saint John traded him to in exchange for their own first-round pick last winter. The Sea Dogs selected Nathan Noel with the pick.
The Saint John native will be an overager with the Armada this year. He only played six regular season and four playoff games with the club last season due to a controversial knee injury.
Tesink was a sixth-round pick of the Blues in the 2011 NHL Draft.
The Sea Dogs travel to Blainville-Boisbriand on January 12th and host the Armada on February 9th.
